This book is about a boy that gets beaten by his mother. One thing she does is that she stabs the stomach really hard, but the most amazing thing is that he survives it, also he said that he still loves her because its his mother. Also he has to sleep in the basement. Another harsh thing she did is that she didn't buy him clothes or gave him food, or if he gives him food it's always the left over. Well the part that I thought was the best was that he got rescued by the police and people from school. Now I really thought that was the best written book. It was really sad. I loved it. Lastly, I think that if someone else reads it and sees all the bad things she has done to him they will feel like if you were him.
